When your pet has a blood test, a scan, or a lump sent away to a laboratory, what comes back is written for vets. It is full of numbers, ranges and words nobody uses in ordinary conversation.

Vet Amica helps your veterinary practice turn that into a page you can actually read, always checked by your vet before you ever see it.

One page, four questions

Your vet can give you a sheet that answers the four things people actually want to know, in the order they ask them:

    Which parts of your pet’s health the test looked at.

    Which measurements were where they should be, and which were not.

    What it means for your pet

    Read against your own animal’s history, not a general description of a disease.

    The sensible next step, what to watch for at home, and when to get in touch.

Where it helps, your vet can attach a longer information sheet about the condition itself, and a breakdown of what the next steps would cost.

Nothing reaches you until your vet has read it

This is the part that matters most, so we will be plain about it.

Vet Amica writes a first draft based on the results and the clinical notes they have written. Your vet then reads it, changes anything they want, deletes anything that doesn’t apply to your animal, and approves it. Only then can it be sent to you.

The words you read are your vet’s words. We just save them the hour it would take to type them out.

What Vet Amica is not

  • It is not a second opinion. If you disagree with your vet, or want another view, ask your practice about a referral.
  • It is not a service you can buy. Vet Amica is sold to veterinary practices, not owners. There is nothing here for you to sign up to or upload.
  • It is not somewhere to ask questions. We cannot answer questions about your animal, and we would be wrong to try; we have never met them. Your practice can.
  • It is not an emergency service. If your pet is unwell now, ring your vet.

Does your practice use Vet Amica?

Vet Amica opens to practices in early 2027, so no practice is using it yet.
